Alan Harris is the only editor of a packaging, printing or converting magazine who has had hands on experience of operating a printing press - printing on plastic containers using a Wifag press for a company in Australia. Alan entered publishing in 1973 and has worked for magazines such as Offset Printer, British Printer, Print Buyer, Converter, Converting World, etc. Since 1981 he has written on a freelance basis for many of the leading printing and converting magazines around the world and runs his own PR and consultancy business for the printing and converting industries.
