Jeremy Plimmer is editor of 'Product & Image Security Magazine' and also Secretary General of the Product & Image Security Foundation. Both provide the only International Forum for Manufacturers, Suppliers and users of Security Labels, Tags, Tickets, Materials, Systems and Document and Product/Image Security Technologies. The main aim of the magazine is to assist in combating product counterfeiting, forgery, tampering and theft by promoting innovative technological solutions and keeping the readership informed of new developments as these are revealed either from private research or university studies. These objectives are achieved through the co-operation of its world-wide readership and active members of the Foundation. Jeremy Plimmer is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Birmingham Brach Chairman of the Institute of Packaging. He has presented technical papers and chaired Foundation (PISEC) conferences in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Florence, Dublin, Prague and Chicago. He has also acted as keynote speaker at Intergraf conferences in Vienna and Sorrento and other leading industry events in Europe and the USA. Prior to 1996, he worked in the security printing industry where he gained international experience in developing passport, identification and financial security print products as Development Director of a leading UK print group which is now part of the Booth-Bemrose Corporation.
